Sheila Lockhart

Sheila Lockhart saw a surgeon at the Comp. Cancer Center at Wake Forest this morning. Sheila has a likely liposarcoma, large and in a location that will make surgery, which is expected to be scheduled in a couple of weeks, more complicated. In the meantime, they did a biopsy today. They expect to do a CT scan on Tuesday next week, after the biopsy results are in. Sheila's situation is serious, but her team won't know the full picture until after the biopsy and CT scan, and possibly not until after the surgery.

She asks that you keep her in your prayers.

As things move forward, Jeannette Rork will set up a Caring Bridge site to help Sheila's circle of support stay informed.
