Anna Harris, BSU President

harrak7@wfu.edu

Hey friends! My name is Anna Harris and I'll be serving as your BSU President this year.  I'm a senior psychology major and Spanish minor from Cary, NC, and as of right now my plan is to go on to graduate school for clinical psychology. As for what comes after that - God hasn't quite let me know yet, but we're working on it!

The things I love the most in life are people, music, food, and Wake Forest.  If you like any of those things, we'll get along great. If you don't, we'll still probably get along great.  I love talking to people and welcome any and all conversations - just send me an email to the address up top!

BSU has truly become my family at Wake Forest. For me, BSU is all about friendship, spiritual growth, and service, and as president I hope to make certain that our group is a place where all of these things live and thrive!  I hope to see you next year sometime in our lounge so you can become a part of the family too!

Love, Anna

Dylan Spivey, Worship Coordinator

spivdw8@wfu.edu

Hey everyone!

My name is Dylan Spivey and I am the Worship Coordinator for 2010 - 2011.  I am in charge of planning Horizons, our Tuesday night dinner and worship service.  And, so you will know a bit about me, I am a junior from Shelby, NC (well, technically Polkville, but that barely merits a dot on a map, much less mention on the website). I am majoring in Art History and still have no idea what I plan to do with it!  You can usually find me in the BSU lounge hanging out. I LOVE Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC, which you will learn if you are ever around long enough to hear me talk, which, incidentally, is not very long at all!

Like Biltmore, BSU is a place everyone should go! I came to Wake a timid freshman, much like a lot of you, and I was afraid I would never find anyone!  However, I found the BSU and it has become a part of my family! I hope that you too will welcome the BSU into your hearts and make it your family in the Forest!

If you ever need anything, just let me know!

Peace and Blessings,
Dylan

Amanda Gambill, Pastoral Care Coordinator
gambam9@wfu.edu

Hey everyone. I am Amanda Gambill and I will be heading up Pastoral Care, which I am very excited about! I am originally from Wilkes County, NC. Wilkes is about an hour away and while I was there I attended North Wilkes High School for Freshman and Sophomore year; then I transferred to the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in Durham for my Junior and Senior year, so I like to think I know NC.
As of right now I hope to major in Chemistry, minor in Biology, attend Medical School, and become an OB/GYN. Here’s to hoping! At Wake Forest I am involved in music (Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, and Saxophone), PREPARE- a rape advocacy group on campus, and am an Ambassador in Admissions.
This summer I am working with International Campus Ministries of the Triad as a Wake Forest Pre-Ministerial Intern! I am not sure where or what God has in store for me, but I am just trying to live my life in reverence to Him, and enjoy the ride He has planned. Any time you would like to talk I am here, I love getting to know people. My job is to be here for you in any way that you need, and by all means that will be my number one goal this year, so definitely give me a chance to get to know you.
Much Love and Gratitude,
Amanda

Chelsea Burgess, Special Ministries Coordinator
burgcd9@wfu.edu

Hello!  My name is Chelsea Burgess and I will be the Campus Outreach/Special Ministries Coordinator for BSU for the 2010-2011 school year.  I am so excited for this year and I know BSU is going to do tons of great things.  A little about me:  I am a sophomore hoping to major in Health and Exercise Science, and I am from Columbus, North Carolina (too small for you to have heard of), but I love it there! I enjoy living in the mountains but also love the beach and its calming presence.  I like to play tennis, go to the movies, and have good times with the people I love!  I hope to see you at BSU and thanks for stopping by.

Stephen Turner, Felloship Coordinator

turnsl9@wfu.edu

Hi!  I am Stephen Turner and I am a Sophomore and will be the Fellowship Coordinator this year.  I am excited about all the new things for this next year and opportunities it holds.  I am especially excited about getting BSU together for some great fellowship time.  I look forward to meeting and getting to know people better this year.  I desire to see a tight knit group here, and there is so much promise for it!  BSU has some solid people involved, and it will be a great time for new growth and love all for the sake of radical faith in the Lord.
